One of my favorite series of action figures are Neca’s TMNT based on the Mirage Comics. Being a bit older than the target audience when the turtles first hit, I was happy to find the comics and their grittier alternative to the bubbly and silly cartoon (which I also enjoyed). Return to NY was the story arc where the turtles meet up with these insane clones of Shredder, and for decades, the closest we got to these in toy form was the 2002 animated series, which was incomplete (no little guy). Now, the gang’s all here and it’s glorious!
